We are pleased to welcome Rabbi Moshe & Ariella Davis to UOS
Rabbi Davis joins us as our new Assistant Rabbi, Outreach Director and Rabbi
of the Sugar Land branch of UOS.
Rabbi Davis most recently studied in the Gruss Kollel of Yeshiva University
in Jerusalem. His warm and engaging personality complements his well-rounded
resume in rabbinic education and training. Rabbi Davis earned his BA in Psychology from Yeshiva University and his Rabbinic Ordination from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He also completed his coursework in the Azrieli Graduate School of Education and Administration of Yeshiva University. In addition to these accomplishments, Rabbi Davis has supplemented his studies at the Puah Institute in Jerusalem, focusing on the laws of family purity and completed Ner Le’elef
Outreach Training Fellowship.
Rabbi Davis will serve as Rabbi at the Sugar Land branch of UOS, which plans
to meet on a monthly basis. Additionally, he will direct a new outreach initiatives
specifically geared to young adults. Some of the planned activities include day-time
executive learning at offices, evening chavurot, and social events. Rabbi Davis
will teach shiurim and will participate in lifecycle events and pastoral counseling
at UOS.
Rabbi Davis and his wife Ariella have two lovely daughters, Yaelle and Elisheva.
